It's a gorgeous reading of a brilliant story; I had never read the story, so part of the impact of the podfic on me came out of the fact that I wasn't expecting something so cool. But I think the reading is really gorgeous and does a great job of communicating the restraint/fury of both of these characters at different points in their lives, and how they manage to complement each other in really useful ways. IDK I just love this. Podfic that's about conversation is one of my favourite kinds of podfic, and this podfic is all about conversation – tea and sympathy, and also talking friends out of genocide – and it's just. It's gorgeously done.
And I still agree with what I said then! Fabulous podfic, beautifully voiced.
